旅の思い出はステッカー

　仕事やプライベートで海外に出かけることが多くなった頃、旅への憧れや思い出の記念として、いつの間にか旅先でステッカーを探すようになっていた。その頃愛用し始めたカメラバッグ、「ゼロ・ハリバートン」に、そのステッカーを貼っていった。とても重くそんなに機材は入れられなかったけど、見てくれもかっこよかったし、とても頑丈で信頼できる相棒だった。
　色々なステッカーを貼っていて目を引くのだろう、旅先や空港などでくつろいでいると、周りの人たちに声をかけられることも多くなった。今ではほとんど出番がなくなってしまったゼロハリ君だけど、機材が少ない時や近場の撮影の時には、たまに持ち出している。疲れた時には椅子がわりに腰をかけたりしても、頑丈でとても頼りになる。ボディに貼られたステッカーをぼんやり見ていると、当時の思い出が蘇る。そして、まだ見ぬ土地に想いを馳せたり、久しぶりに行きたい思い出の土地のことを考えながら、次の旅を考える時間がなんとも言えないほど心地良い。南極、北極、灼熱の赤道…気がつけば南極を含む５大陸は制覇していたけれど、まだアフリカ大陸だけは踏んでいない。次はどこに行こうかな…

Stickers are memories of my travel
When I started traveling abroad more and more both work and private, I started looking for
stickers on my commemoration of the trip and admire. Around that time, I started to use
Zero Halliburton camera case, I put those travel stickers on it. My Zero Halliburton camera
case was pretty heavy and couldn’t hold a lot of equipment, but it looked so cool and very
strong and reliable companion of my trip. I also noticed that people felt easy to talk to me
when I was traveling with my full of stickers came case. Now my Zero Halliburton is rarely
used anymore, however sometimes I bring it out when I don’t have much equipment or
when I’m shooting at nearby place. That is pretty strong and very reliable, even if I could sit

on it instead of a chair when you’re tired. As I look at the stickers on the Camera case, my
good days memories come flooding back. It’s an indescribably pleasant time to think about
the places to visit where you haven’t seen yet, think about the places you want to go to for
the first time in a while, and think about your next trip. Antarctica, the North Pole, the
scorching heat of the equator… Before I knew it, I had conquered five continents, including
Antarctica, but I never been to set foot on the African continent. Where should I go next…
